Where are the sessions held?
I tend to tutor from home and parents/carers stay too. There is some flexibility in this when longer 2 hour sessions are booked. Feel free to phone or email so we can discuss options in more detail.
Do you offer a free taster session?
I offer a free 20 minute online consulation with parents/carers so we can discuss plans and answer any questions.
The first tutor session booked after that is payable in advance and booked as a one off so you aren’t committed to a block of bookings before we’ve worked together.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours notice if you are unable to make a session and will do my best to reschedule your booking. Unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed during busy times. No shows will not be refunded.
One months notice is needed to cancel pre paid bookings.
Do you offer a guarantee?
It is unfortunately not possible to guarantee a certain level of achievement as every person is different. What I do promise is I will do my best, using my qualifications and over 20 years experience. There will be times when it might be best to involve another professional to boost potential in a different way.
Teamwork is the best approach when we work with children who find school difficult as they might have underlaying issues that need to be treated by other professionals. Before we can jump into learning and understanding a new skill, we need a solid base.
How much do you charge?
Sessions start from £45 for 55 minutes, this includes time spend talking to parents/ carers.
When do we need to pay?
Sessions are booked and paid for in advance one calendar month at a time.
